End of May/First of June Code/Special Promos Watch!

We to will be at WDW from May 28th ~ June 5th. We will be a party of 12!!! we would love to see the 4/3 deal as this would save us a ton!

Joining in!! We are booked June 5th-12th. Any discount at all would be appreciated.

We are also planning a vacation for the end of May!!! :cool1: Personally, I would love to have any sort of discount :woohoo:, but the 4/3 deal would be spectacular! I used it in March and saved a good deal of money. It would be incredible if they had free dining then!!! That would be the best trip ever :worship: My dad keeps trying to tell me they will have it, but I am seriously doubting it... he's not a dis member, so i have to fill him in on a lot of things :teacher:

Not that I think they will, but I would be falling to my knees and thanking all that is holy if they offered free dining during this time of the year. It would save us over $1,000.00!

Morning all!

Just wanted to let ya'll know about some information I just received from the Allearsnet crew.

I emailed them to ask if they thought the 2010 Flower & Garden Festival dates were set in stone. They emailed back and said that Disney released the dates about a month ago so they think they are "official". Let's just keep our fingers crossed that they will extend the dates until the end of May.

i'll be down there, planning on May 29 - June 4 this year. i usually don't do June dates. i go for Memorial Day week which is usually the last week of May, but next year its the last day of the month so i get to do a split month stay.

Joining! We're planning some time around the middle of June. Crowd info though. We were the 3rd wk of June this past summer and the 2nd wk in Aug. The heat was the same. The crowds were better in Aug. There was actually a huge difference. The one in June was the last of the 4/7 deal and the Aug one was the wk before free dining, but there was a room only discount going on. Just an FYI that June can get busy and be crazy hot. I actually don't like the 4/7 deals. Way too crowded. We did this back when they did about 6 yrs ago and said it wasn't worth it. We forgot when that until we got there this past June.

Anyways, we're very excited. It's our 10 yr anniversary (married at Disney) and Dh and I will both graduate w/ our masters. So, big celebration.

For those of you who haven't heard, rumor is Disney will be making a huge announcement on 9/27/09. From the information I have found, it looks like it may be either a buy 4/get 3 free or free dining. But, it may only be for the first three months of the year 2010. Last year, the buy 4/get 3 free promo lasted much longer than the first three months so I'm hoping that part of the rumor is incorrect.

Here's the link if you guys want to check it out: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2289958

Here's to hoping they extend the 4 for 3 deal into June (like last year!!) :wizard:

Me too!!!
I guess we have to wait until Dec. 21st to find out.
That is when this new offer needs to be booked by.
I hope there will be a good deal or I'll have to rearrange my visit.

Details are still coming in and will be updated and/or changed as they become available.

When you purchase a 4-night/4-day non-discounted Walt Disney Travel Company Magic Your Way package at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort you'll get three additional nights (with tickets) free. This includes hotel nights and admission tickets! That's a week's vacation for the price of just four nights!

When you purchase a 5-night/5-day non-discounted Walt Disney Travel Company Magic Your Way package at a Value resort you'll get two additional nights (with tickets) free. This includes hotel nights and admission tickets! That's a week's vacation for the price of just five nights!

Dining Plans can be added at full price.

This is a great offer at a Disney resort, but number of rooms available is limited. Stays of 8, 9, and 10 nights are also available which include a maximum of three free room nights with tickets for Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort and two free room nights with tickets for Value. Obviously the "Buy 4/5 get 3/2 Free" offer will be the best deal. Ask about other resorts. Savings increase with room rates. The more you spend the more you save!

Lesser lengths of stay are available with a 4 (Moderate & up) or 5-day (Value) minimum depending on your resort.

*Availability is limited. No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required. Tickets are for one theme park per day (unless upgraded) and must be used within 14 days of first use.

I admit, I am greedy and hope they announce it earlier than that! :rotfl: With ADR's going back to 180 days, that means they can be made in early December for early June trips.

Last year it was early November when the deal was released. Come on Disney and give us an early Christmas presentthis year! :santa:

You're not greedy (because if you were then I'd be too.:thumbsup2). I, too, am hoping that they extend the promo!

Hoping for a little pixie dust to come my way, too!!!! :wizard: Had to cancel last year and couldn't take advantage of the 4/3 deal:sad1: Hoping for better luck this time around! And PLEASE don't make us wait TOO long Disney:thumbsup2

Ooh -- good to hear! I am even more excited. School gets out for us on June 4th, so I was hoping we might miss at least a little bit of the crowds....

I have only gone the last week of May or first week of June so I can't say how it compares to other times, but it wasn't too bad. In 2008 we arrived on May 28th and the weather was actually quite pleasant minus a tropical storm that came through and rained out one of our days, but I am from Houston so I am use to a bit of heat, humidity and thunderstorms anyway :confused3. Last year we arrived June 3rd because that was the day the girls got out of school and it was a bit warmer, but I am sure that didn't have all that much to do with it being a week later, just a warmer summer. Some days did seem a bit more crowded then others but since we were there for 10 nights we would just go to another park or back to SAB for awhile and it worked out fine.
This if we can get a good deal this year I want to arrive on the 2nd (the last day of school for the girls and a min day too so they will probably just skip it) and leave on the 8th or 9th.

We will be in the World June 5-14! We cannot wait!! 4 years is too long of a wait between WDW trips. :sad1: We are doing a split stay between Windsor Hills and CBR. I'm hoping for a room only discount!!! :)

I have run some numbers too.

I went to the allearsnet website to get the correct "season" rate for the time I am staying at the CBR in May and June, 2010. The rate during our time of travel would be approximtely $190.00 per night. (If I am remembering correctly.) I then looked at the rates during the promo dates and found one that was very close to the $190.00 rate. Then, I went to the Disney World site and plugged in the dates. (Sorry if I am not making myself clear.)

By my calculations and the price given to me on the Disney site, it looks like we would save between $500 and $600.00 if they extend the buy 4/get 3 free promo. If they were to run a free dining promotion, we would save a little over $1,000.00. But, given Disney's history, I'm thinking they won't be offering free dining during our travel dates.

Even if I saved just $100.00, I'd be happy.
