We do not have our tickets yet, so no FP+and when I looked, there are NONE available anyway.
Since Feb 23 is listed as a 5/10 for crowd levels or LOW depending on what chart I look at- what is the best way to get to A&E and what kind of a wait are we looking at?

My plan was to rope drop and go straight to the Princess Fairytale Hall, ok, really that is the only plan I have- :guilty:

Once we have the tickets, I plan on looking EVERY day for the FP to see what pops up...but I think we may have to go stand in line...if DH can do that.

Is early AM better- or evening?

We did it last night immediately after the 9 o'clock fireworks. We watched them from the back of the castle and Princess Fairytale Hall is actually closed during the fireworks due to its location so no one can get in the line. We got right in line as soon as we were able and we waited right around an hour (didn't really time it) with a 70 minute posted wait. Good luck!!!

awesome! Was that a EMH evening time? I thought after the fireworks, they close and usher everyone out.
We will try whatever we can, my girls will want to see Anna and Elsa for sure, I just hope we don't lose much time in the morning stopping for the mainstreet castle pic ! princess:

Nope it was just during regular hours. They close down a portion of the area right behind the castle because of debris falling from the fireworks. You are able to view them from near the carousel. The line for PFH is included in the area that is closed so no one is able to he in the line during the fireworks. There were still some people in line from before the fireworks when we got in line. We were one of the firsts in line when they reopened it. It worked out perfectly, I had planned on not seeing them since it was only a day trip and at 22 I would have been okay with that, but I was excited we got to do it!

ok- Totally exciting! I am sure DH will want the girls to be up close for the fireworks...but we can try that Friday night since they will have already seen them close! THANKS

You'll be surprised just how incredible the fireworks are from behind the castle. There is nothing really quite like it, anywhere. You are literally immersed in the fireworks with them going off in 360° around you. While nothing replaces watching the castle projection show at least one time during your trip you'll be amazed at the fireworks from the back too. DH deemed it his favorite way when I introduced that spot to him on our last trip.

Were you able to use EMH in the morning? I love EMH because no one ever wakes up that early and even Magic Kingdom is pretty much empty for one glorious hour. :cool1:

My husband and I did the morning rush back in June. We were at the park 45 minutes before opening. The rush there was honestly insane. People were pushing and shoving and being extremely aggressive. I would not have felt great if we had kids pulling them along in all that. It was a very un-Disney-like experience. Because of that, I would go with what others have said about later at night, though perhaps EMH would be better than a normal morning.

That would be so fun for me, but my 4YO would HATE that. She said she did not want to go to Disney because they have fireworks.

I think we will try the EMH on the Thursday we are there so we will have had a chance to see the park once already and can take the risk/time with A&E if we don't get to it at night, and then we can also try the behind the castle firework :)

We are going 1st of Feb & haven't bought our tickets either. How can you check FP if you don't have tickets? I would love to take a look. We should be getting our tickets this week anyway but in the meantime ... Thanks.
