So I have been running some numbers and trying to figure out what my best options are. Wondering who else is planning on this change? it looks like we will be able to use our disney visa at costco. thats a magical chawching..... So in the end I am not really losing out on much.

Why are u doing when your Costco Amex ends?

citi is taking over the account with the same stipulation. so prepare for the migration over... now its just amex trying to get its old customers to move onto a different Amex card.

I just signed up for Costco last month. Do you know when they plan on honoring the Disney Visa? And how does that work? Costco offers 1% back or the standard reward for Disney?

I don't have the amex card but I can't wait til they take Visa!! It'll definitely make Costco shopping even better savings.

I took up amex on the no fee card they are offering that gives a $200 statement credit if $1000 is spent within the first 3 months. it's offering 3% at grocery stores so I may end up using it more than I used my Costco amex, but I won't opt for a citi bank card and will just likely just use my debit/visa card at Costco unless I'm purchasing something like electronics that I want some type of buyer protection on (and I can honestly say that now when it comes down to deciding if I'm going to purchase a larger ticket item at Costco vs. elsewhere I will likely opt for the place I can use my amex card b/c they stand behind their customers and come through on purchase/warranty protection like no one else).

I'm going to keep using my cash back card as well - no need to tie it directly to Disney when it can just be a statement credit! :teacher:

I just signed up for blue everyday too. I already had blue preferred.

Costco's extended warranties and return policy are excellent. May outweigh the protection Amex offers (but I'm not sure).

I won't bother keeping an Amex. My Capital one visa gives me 2%. If the costco visa offers other perks, I might consider it but I don't really need another visa!

I will probably product change my Amex to another card just to have an Amex but I am super excited to use my SW Visa at Costco now as that is my main card.
