We have only ever gone end of Feb or the first few weeks of March. We didn't get to Disney last year due to a move and it wasn't looking as if this year would work. But my kids have the last week of April into May off. Is this a good time to go? I know its well enough after Easter and most if not all spring breaks?

I'm going than too and I'm use to sept or January. So I'm curious as well.

We are going then also. It doesn't appear that the crowds will be too heavy. (crossing fingers) Usually the weather is wonderful. Also great fun going to Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits) is playing the 25,26 & 27 of April. Hope you have a great trip!

Thanks I am hoping we can make it work.. the kids miss going last year.. we just moved and I am not used to these later vacations

Depending where you stay, there may be huge crowds of All Star cheerleaders. cheerleading Worlds take place the last weekend in April 25-28ish. They stay at the All Stars with over flow to Pop and CBR. Then the following weekend May 2-4 is All Star Cheerleading Summit. Again, same hotels are utilized. Competition takes place at ESPN Wide World of Sports but obviously, they go to the parks as well. For MA, the week of April 21-25 is school vacation. Yes, I know this because my daughter's team has gotten a bid to Summit. 475 teams from across the country and Canada all at Disney. Most will fly in on Thursday to be there for practice on Friday. Most will leave Monday because no one knows what time competition and awards will end on Sunday. In general, Worlds will be older teenagers but some athletes as young as 12. Summit will have athletes of all ages 7ish to 18.

Thanks and congrats to your daughter and her team. I grew up in MA and moved to CT now in NH they do the week after most normal new England schools do break. annoys me since I am so used to it being the same week. but we wouldn't be there till the week that is half April/May so we should miss most of the cheering
