Hi guys, I made a reservation to take my family to Disneyland during the Thanksgiving week for the 60 year celebration, but I am considering changing it to February to avoid the crowd. Do you think they will still be celebrating diamond anniversary in Feb of 2016? Or is it too early to tell?

Disneyland's official opening day was in July. So I would bet the anniversary festivities would continue through July of 2016, if not longer.

At this point, no official end date has been announced. The new entertainment offers (e.g., Paint the Night, Disneyland Forever fireworks, and WoC: Celebrate) will likely run for several years (e.g., the 50th anniversary fireworks show was presented until last year). The Diamond Days sweepstakes is ending on September 11th. At this point, the most common guess is that the celebration will run at least through the first half of next year. The guessing is that will certainly still be happening in February because that is when ABC is going to be showing their Disneyland's 60th TV special.

Once we know an end date, it'll probably get posted in the big 60th anniversary thread:

Thank you Barnabe and Figment, I think it's safe to assume the celebration will still be going on in the beginning of next year.
