We booked a trip for the last week of Aug on the free dining bounce back when we visited last year. We are thinking of trying to change that to the first week in Sept.. Is this possible? Do you think there will be a substantial difference in crowds between the two weeks?

The last week of August still has a fair number of families with children since some school districts do not start until after the Labor Day holiday. If you can, I would try to time your arrival for after Labor Day, which falls on Sept. 7 this year. We were there last year for free dining, and arrived on the Saturday of the 3-day-holiday weekend which last year was the end of August because the holiday fell on 9/1 last year. It was very crowded Saturday & Sunday of the holiday weekend...but the crowds grew noticeably smaller starting around noon on Labor Day Monday as people headed home from the 3 day weekend. The rest of the week was pleasant in the parks.
