So excited for you and Carrie Ann! Of course when I first started reading I thought maybe you were meeting her in Disney in December. That would have been cool since I will be there at that time too! Oh well, you will definitely have fun at Niagara Falls. It's been way too long since I've been up there. We used to go quite often when I lived in Pennsylvania. I agree that Cave of the Winds and Maid of the Mist are two things not to miss!

I'm excited too Arianna. I'm not saying anything's for sure by any means, but December isn't completely out of the question. I'll leave it at that for now. I've got a lot to look forward to in Niagara no doubt. But seeing everyone is the best thing.

Hey there friend! Just got all caught up once again with the old TR. I loved that your DISmeet went so well with Carrie and Riley! How neat that Riley warmed up to you the way she did, and you got her to wear her Bday button...how cool is that?! You must be a very cool person to meet. Wow you guys did a lot together and I think that is awesome! Love the pirate fighting pose with you and Riley! And hey, she is the one you were mentioning that had the same Donald shirt as me. Automatically awesomeness if she likes the Donald in my book!! That is so sweet that you got her a Santa Duffy and they returned the favor with a bag of Birthday goodies . That was a neat story about your parents and your history of Disney vacations! I hope that my kids grow up to love Disney the way that you have and that they will appreciate all those years growing up that mom and dad took them to the most awesome place in the world lol! I love that you and your dad have birthdays so close together. My DH and his dad have birthdays one day apart so I get how cool that is to share with your dad! P.S. Okay just read your post lol! How freaking awesome are the disboards that you have made such a great friendship with Carrie and Riley! Love that you guys are staying in contact and exchanging stuff. Nothing beats getting surprises in the mail! And BTW not sure if you realize but your American Express (lol love that) bracelet that Riley made you is a Rainbow Loom and it's a pretty big deal around here. Trust me I have an 8 year old and she is obsessed with making these lol. They are not too easy to make either so I am guessing that since she took the time to make you one that you are pretty high on the friend status there buddy . I think it is great that you have a surprise trip planned and it looks like a lot of fun for you guys! I hope you have a blast!!! You know that you will have to do a mini trip report to let us know how awesome it turned out right?! Just sayin

Yes, the locker number is indeed on the key. How do I know? A couple of teenaged hooligans may still have a little immature souvenir of their first trip to EPCOT. Let's just say nobody has been able to use the locker between number 68 and 70 for the last 30 years!

Hi there Friend right back! Jenn, it went so well. I was so touched by all the Riley stuff that I just fell right in love with her within the first hour. She's a special kid. We really did get a lot done. EMH rules!! Ahh the fighting pose is an absolute favourite mostly because it was just completely spontaneous. Haha yup!! When I saw you wearing that shirt I knew instantly we'd be friends, lol. OMG that Duffy was just BEGGING to be bought. Thankfully she loved him. And I sure did love all my birthday treats too! Yeah, I am ever so grateful that they introduced me to this place. I can't imagine my life without it, and I don't want to. I think your kids will, I really do. And just for the record, "Disney Kids" grow up to be the best adults. Our birthday closeness is special. The one and only trip I took with them as an adult had his birthday during it, but missed mine by just one day. After seeing that castle picture again, I may need to correct that. This year is a big one for him after all.

Honestly Jenn, DISboards has exceeded my expectations. I only joined in March 2013, had a trip in April, and then this past December. So I really only consider December my first real trip as a DISer. So to meet so many people on my "first" trip and to actually have those be real genuine friendships is beyond anything I could have imagined. And YES, I do love presents. But I think I like giving them more.
Oh yes, I am very aware of Rainbow Loom. It's big here too. Carrie has told me that as soon as Riley learned how to make them she wanted to make me one. Believe me, I know how special that is and that's why I love it so much (and never leave home without it). I am so looking forward to the trip and I just hope the surprise plays even close to how it is in my head. And yup, I do plan to do a mini TR of the whole thing after I'm home. I have no Disney trip planned yet, so I need to write about something.

Haha, I remember you talking about working at Cedar Fair Parks. This will be my first experience. I've always wanted to see Wonderland. I'm not sure what the rest will do, and I do want to spend as much time with everyone as possible. That's my ultimate goal. But nonetheless, there are 3 coasters that are must do for me. After that I'm good.

It's pretty amazing Alicia. I would never have thought (or wanted) that from an internet message board. But DISboards is truly special.

Your story has taken such a sweet turn in your developing friendship with Riley's family. This definitely makes me adventurous enough to want to set up a DISmeet (or two) for my next WDW trip. It was so refreshing to meet people who had the same level of love and appreciation for Disney. Obviously I highly recommend DISmeets. Thanks Courtney, I'm pretty excited too. It's not Disney, but it will be in Disney spirit. Honestly, I'm surprised I haven't been as well. I guess the call of Disney is just to darn strong. Not to mention the fact that I can do a Florida trip so much cheaper than somewhere within Canada. It makes no sense, but it's true.
