"ENCHANTED TALES with ROB" - A Birthday/Christmas DISer Celebration! **NEW TR LINK**

"ALL OUR DREAMS CAN COME TRUE
IF WE HAVE THE COURAGE TO PURSUE THEM"
Day 3 – December 5, 2013 Part 2

After shedding enough tears in front of Small World to refill the currently drained ride,
I realized that I had yet to eat anything this morning, which appears to be a recurring theme.
I sought to rectify this; And what better way than with a massive bun of sugar and more importantly, a LeFou’s Brew.

45.jpg

Sugar and… Sugar… It’s a great combination and they really complement each other.

47.jpg

I know a lot of people are unhappy that this was removed from the Main Street Bakery, and that the one here isn’t as good.
So, I guess it’s good that since I never had one at the MSB, I had no point of comparison, and I can safely say I loved it.
I sat near the New Fantasyland entrance to enjoy this massive meal, knowing that some visitors would soon be making an appearance nearby.
I finished my delicious and extremely filling meal and then jumped in the line to meet…

48.jpg

I was heading back towards Main Street, but I took the long way around into Liberty Square and Frontierland and then cut into Adventureland.

I made a note of comparison with the last time I passed by the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

Upon arriving on Main Street, Dream Along With Mickey was finishing up, so I stopped to take in the remaining show.
Honestly, it always feels like Dream Along is going on every single time I approach Main Street, but I'm not complaining.

It makes me so happy that Disney does a show in front of the castle.
Yes, sometimes it’s annoying when the path through it is closed, but having all the characters performing there is so worth it.

After the show, I proceeded down Main Street to pick up something important for later.
Incidentally, I don’t really have any problem with people “double dipping” Fastpasses (gone now anyway), but so far I had yet to do so.
Since my FP’s today were at the Studios, I had nothing booked in MK, but there was one absolute must do,
So I pulled a paper Fastpass with my actual AP ticket and had no guilt whatsoever in doing so.

Heading back to Main Street, I spotted a photo setup just begging to be captured.

55.jpg

I also met up with some close personal friends that I enlisted to help celebrate this special day.

56.jpg

I don’t often see Mayor Weaver and Smokey together, so this was an absolute treat, and they did indeed know the significance of this day.

A short time later I heard the refrain of "Pumpin’ Up the Party", so I knew that Move It Shake It was on the way,
And I jumped up and down and squealed like a little girl because I am obsessed with Move It Shake It.
If it doesn’t at the very least get your feet tapping, then I can’t help you.
It certainly has that effect on THIS icon of Main Street… Rock Star Superstar Dancing Barbara leading the way!!!!!

Her energy is just absolutely and downright infectious and I adore her.

If/When I next do MNSSHP, I think a Move It Shake It costume will be at the top of the short list.

Day 3 – December 5, 2013 Part 2 Continued

Once the parade passed by on Main Street, I snagged some more iconic friends for more celebratory photos.

From left to right… Dan, Dan, Me, Dan, and Dan.

I headed to the hub for more Move It, Shake It, and Celebrate It because I just love it so much!!!
One of the CM’s working the parade even asked me “Weren’t you just down on Main Street?”
Yup, that would be me. My name is Rob and I am a Move It Shake It addict.

Once Move It Shake It finished, Dream Along with Mickey was just a few short minutes away, so I took a seat in front of the castle to wait.
I always seem to catch it half way through, so this time I was staying for the start.
While waiting, a few of the dancers came out to check out the stage conditions.

92.jpg

I guess all was up to snuff, as the show started right on time.

I love how Wendy took a moment to make sure and smile for me, complete with princess hand.

This show also reminds me how much I hate Aurora’s old dress.

It is such a wonderful show and the performers work so hard. Love it.

It had already been an amazing day in Walt’s World,
So I was compelled to post this photo on Facebook that I had gotten while Move It Shake It was still going on.

Along with the following caption:

Happy Birthday Walt… and THANK YOU!!! <3

TO BE CONTINUED…

Small world being closed does deserve some tears. ;)

That Drizilla is perfect! I love meeting the tremaines, they're hilarious! I love all of your friends from Main Street! So fun! I love Dan, Dan, Dan & Dan!

A move it parade addict, huh? I will always have a soft spot for it. Also, how awesome is Barbara?! I want to work alongside her and just dance!!

Finally! Someone who knows its Walt's Birthday! :worship:

Did you all plan to color coordinate like that? Inquiring minds want to know.

Oh, and I think I just found a new breakfast of champions. ::yes::

What a great update!

What?!?! Whenever I pass the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse, the wait is always at least 60 minutes... What's your secret? ;)

LOVE your Dapper Dan photo... Dan, Dan, Dan, and... Dan. HAHA! :rotfl:

Also, not gonna lie... The last photo, your birthday sign, and your "thank you" choked me up a bit. We do really have so much to be grateful for... :lovestruc How lucky for us that Walt came into the world.

All caught up Rob! Great updates:thumbsup2
I cannot imagine the insanity of a 60 minute wait for the treehouse....no way jose!

I think a MNSSHP Move It Shake It costume is genius! I would love to see that.
How was Gaston's brew? We did not get the chance to try it this go around and I am not sure how I feel about apple juice either so.......the cin. roll looked yummy though. Alas I too never got the chance to try one from MB. We were in line for one in 2011 and by the time we got up to the front they were all gone. Never again to try....epic failure.

Dan, Dan, me, Dan, Dan......lol

Can't wait to see what you have in store next! ::yes::

My family and I ALWAYS get to the hub near the middle or the end of Dream Along With Mickey! I don't think I've ever seen it once :sad2:

But I've had a cinnamon roll from Main Street Bakery and wasn't totally impressed with it. But I really want to try the one at Gaston's tavern!

I really didn't know what to think of Barbara the first time I saw her, but I gotta tell ya, I like her. I'm extremely envious. Can you imagine loving your job that much? She seriously has it made, as far as I'm concerned. Next TR, I want a Barbara/Rob DANCE OFF!!!
:cool1::banana::dancer:

So many fun meet and greets at MK in this update!

Probably the most impressive being the cinnamon bun! YUM!!!

It seriously looks like it was a picture perfect day weather-wise. As I sit here looking out my window at freezing rain, the warm sunny day is soooo enticing!

It's an unspoken rule that you must consume massive amounts of sugar while at Disney. There's no other option. :rolleyes2

I never tried the Main Street Bakery cinnamon roll, either, so the one you ordered looks like it would be a major hit. I love that Disney's version of a pastry is roughly the size of your fist. :rotfl2:

The Move It Shake It parade is great, and I think that would make for an awesome Halloween costume.

I'm glad the Mayor and Smokey knew it was Walt's birthday.::yes::

Dude! Love all your photos, but these are my favorites.

I think this is the first picture I have seen of the mayor where he is not trying to :love2: Brenda!

Hi. I'm Rob. This is my brother Dan. And my other brother Dan. And my other brother Dan. And my other brother Dan.

GREAT tribute to Walt!

That cinnamon bun looks amazing! I'll confess I never had one from the MSB either. Disney is the one place you can eat straight sugar for breakfast and get away with it :rotfl2:

I still haven't seen Dream Along with Mickey or Move it Shake it, I need to change that ASAP! I love all the pictures you were able to get!

I completely agree Aurora's new dress is way nicer than her old one!

A Move it Shake it halloween costume would be fabulous!

Wow, that is a lot of sugar for breakfast, I would be bouncing off the walls! Of course that might not be a bad thing at Disney. I need to give the Le Fou's brew another try. I had it when I was there in March and it was freezing that day. Not a great day to have a frozen drink. I was shaking so bad I couldn't finish it!

60 minutes for Swiss Family Treehouse?!?!? :confused3 I've never seen that sign say anything but 0. I'm guessing this was over Easter? I'm sure glad I tend to go during slow times.

I do like to watch Move It, Shake It but I just can't embrace the parade. Why? No Pluto! It's just not right that he's not in that parade. At least I can dance with him in Tomorrowland. ::yes::

I have yet to watch a full DAWM show. Of course I've seen enough pictures in Katt's TRs that I think I already know the whole show! :rotfl:

Love your picture of the Mayor and Smokey! AND you met the Dapper Dans, cool!!

Dream Along With Mickey  It does feel like it's ALWAYS going on, but I don't mind either!!

I think there is nothing wrong with the brew and roll for a breakfast. I think it looks like a fantastic breakfast I'll take 2 to go thank you.

The way Landon feels about music... I have a feeling that he will feel the same exact way you do about the Move It Shake It parade I know his mother and I enjoy it.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I've never actually seen Dream Along with Mickey all the way through. :confused3 Methinks I will put it on the short list for this trip!

I am finally back on the Dis. I have to go back and reread about 4 new updates that I skimmed through. I just have to say I love your Tribute to Walt. All the pictures with icons of Disney and the Mountain to Mountain rides with signs. Just wonderful :)

Great Move It, Shake It pics ... especially considering that everyone was "moving it" and/or "shaking it"

Great pics of Dream Along with Mickey as well - love the ones of Mickey and Minnie together. Also love the one of Peter Pan karate chopping a set of imaginary boards

Also great that you got so many Main St. mainstays with the Happy Birthday Walt sign - I am sure they all appreciated the fact you were going to that effort

Oh, and considering that you are only allowed to book those magic band fast passes in one park I can't imagine it being an issue at all to "double dip" in a different park. Like you said, not an issue anymore. Though, considering that It's a Small World was down I can't imagine what attraction you would want a Fastpass for ;)

Sugar and more sugar!! The best kind of Disney breakfast, heck I had cake the other day for breakfast while sitting in fantasyland waiting on lady T, it was glorius!

Love the pictures around mk, ah dream along, how magical you are!

We triple dipped for fp’s that week, with ap’s, mvmcp tickets and fp + we were able to have so many, it was cray

Obvs I LOVE misi, and commented on facebook about that lol

UHM, GET OUT, WE ARE DOING MISI COSTUMES FOR MNSSHP IN SEPT!!

Also stilts… :p

Great shots of Minnie!! Ugh, at least the aurora dress in dream along isn’t as bad as the old dress, also, like, the old dress is back now because the new dress needed to be fixed… #worst

Also I’m totes listening to dream along at this very second

…whoops…changed it to misi bahahhaa

great updates!!
