From another trend (now locked trend) @elvispursley made a great point when saying “Agree that one shouldn't take pics of kids. I actually have a huge issue with the way WDW does pics at Enchanted Tales with Belle. I was really appalled that when I took my niece to this attraction (having only boys, never did this before) we had a bunch of kids on our photo pass from the experience. Knowing that she's on others is cringe.”

I agree but what are the alternatives to this? I don’t like my kids pictures to be on others phones and I also find it personally creepy to have other children’s photos on my phone like that. I have a trip coming up in a few months so curious what the options are cause my kids love that experience but I don’t love the picture aspect. I know with ride photos this is also an issue also but this is more so one on one photos and a tad different.

I honestly don't see the issue. When we did the experience, I just deleted all the pictures that didn't have my kids. Do I wish I didn't have to go through that? Ya. But there's also no way to get around this other than eliminating the pictures altogether.

I can guarantee that my kids are in the background of thousands of people's photos. Not sure how this is any different.

OP, I totally understand your concern. We have done the attraction and just accepted there's nothing we can do other than not do it. We don't do pics on social media, even for school events. Most people just sign off and don't think about it. Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do but not go. Anywhere like WDW you will be in the background. Just think of the Photopass by the castle

I get your concern OP, but the reality is, it’s 2025, and if a creep is lurking someone in WDW they are gonna find a way to get images one way or another. Between smart phones, mini cameras and other recording devices etc. Not to mention the live vlogs that capture images of unknown guests all the time, even content creators who don’t think to blur out minors- all that content can be viewed and get in the wrong hands. Point I’m making is I don’t think many bad guys are going to go through lengths of using Enchanted Tales with Belle to be a predator.

It’s far more likely photos, images or video posted on social media accounts would be accessed without you even knowing, or a photo or image being captured elsewhere (even in WDW) without you knowing. Super ick the more you think of, but the reality of the world we live in.

I would guess that, if you asked the CM ahead, they could just not take photos of your kids for the most part. If they aren't selected as one of the special characters, it would be a matter of not having them take the PP picture with Belle at the end. If they are picked as a name character, I would think the CM could tell the PP photographer not to do pictures of your kid's character without it being a big thing. There are the group pictures when they parade around the room, but that's groups of kids versus just your kid.

If it's that concerning to you, I would maybe go ask an attraction CM before you go over with your kiddos.

That said, I do agree with various other posters upthread that our images are being captured in so many ways that trying to manage it is a sisyphean task at this point.

I don't get why people get so creeped out by this in situations like this. If you have ever taken your kid to any kind of public event or attraction where tourists would take photos they in many photos on many phones. It's just not something we as parents can control. You have no idea about it and it doesn't harm or effect you or your child in any way. It would be virtually impossible to track down a child from these kinds of photos unless they are wearing their name and address.

A person stalking specifically your child or walking around obviously purposely taking pictures of random kids is a totally different story.

Its Disney. Everyone has tons of pics of other people's kids whether its because their family member was picked at ETWB and they took their own photos or a CM did.
And its not just ETWB its EVERYWHERE.
I'm sure you have tons of pics of kids that you got in the background of your own pics.
If you're that concerned then you probably just shouldn't go.
