my jo's has cartridges right now for 39.99. i wanted the storybook one but they did not have it. mom went to walmart and they did have it! so she picked it up for me and they price matched it. (after a little discussion!) but she (the walmart mgr) said they won't do it again! i'm just thrilled that i got it.

OK. This is perfect. I have to go near a JoAnn's (closest one to me is 45 min.) to drop off my kids anyway. I need more papers so I'll get some stacks and dh makes uniforms for our office so if they had Jerzees in the right sizes we could probably clear them completely out of them to get us ready for the year.

I don't have a lot of Cricut carts but I do have Storybook ($39 on e-bay), Pooh font ($29.99 on e-bay), Mickey ($35 at Wal-Mart clearance), and 4 others bought at Custom Crops $29.99 sale. So maybe I could get another but probably not.

Other than that I pretty much need everything. I have stickers, but almost no embellishments, etc. I'm such a newbie it's no joke. I did get a Xyron 250 at JoAnn's online with a 50% off coupon and free shipping.

How can a newb get the most out of these sales? I would love to have a plan and not just go in blind and buy random things I won't need.

I have 2 Disney albums, a Yellowstone album, and ALL 3 of my girls have NO albums at all. And no family albums. I've only ever done vacations. Sigh. It's all just so ovewhelming.

And what adhesive should I buy. No matter what I buy, I end up hating it. Other than the Xyron which I love but isn't practical for everything.

Help me out, I'm beggin' ya'll!

Wanted to add that I do 12x12 albums. What is a good way to store the paper? I have an 8x11 organizer but I really hate 8x11 albums. I did one for my mom and hated the way the photos laid out when done. I have a whole room so I don't mind some thing big, but I don't want expensive, ya know?
