EMM effect on PPO BOG plan?

I booked us an 8am BOG breakfast on 9/17 but now I see there is an EMM on that day. Will EMM negate the minimal/no wait for 7DMT strategy or is the PPO meal still worthwhile in that regard?

I did the same and asked this question already. I was told you won’t get to ride early but will be able to queue early and will be ahead of the rope drop crowd and get 1 fast ride in. The benefit to EMM is you know they won’t change the hours on you and make your PPO reservation a rope drop reservation.

I would still plan to get in line about 8:40. They will let you guys in before the rope drop people, so you can get a ride in before the hordes descend!

You can line up but you won’t be allowed to ride until EMM ends as people pay for that benefit of having a certain timeframe to ride without others riding. We’ve done EMM twice and as we’ve ridden have seen the line waiting for park to open (the guests with PPO reservations).

We had a PPO reservation 3/17 (which was also an EMM). We lined up at 845. They started walking us over at about 855. We did one ride on SDMT and were off the ride at 905 and walked past the crazy long line from rope drop

Early access to rides ends at park opening (in the case of MK EMM, when the rope drop crowd arrives after the 8:55am opening show, which is usually right around 9am), the breakfast that is a part of EMM is available until 10am.

This was our experience on 2/26, an EMM day. They walked us over to the SDMT standby line around 8:55 and we got one ride in with no wait before the RD crowd arrived.
