EMM effect on crowds

What effect will EMM have on park crowds (particularly RD crowds)?

This gets asked often.
The consensus is that EMM has no effect on crowds, including RD crowds, because it is a hard ticketed event open to a limited number of people and is not the same as EMH which is open to all on-property and good neighbor hotel guests.

While this is true, many of the EMM people start to move away from the popular rides since they've already had a chance to ride them all alone. They then tend to flock to the lesser rides that the regular and RD people won't be at. So even in those instance the EMM crowd isn't anything to worry about.

But if your plan is to ride the rides before actual park opening, then yes obviously you miss that opportunity.
