Hi all,

Being new to this board - we are going next April - I was just wondering if EMH are only open to people staying in one of the park hotels and do you have to book a GM (?) or character breakfast to get in ...

Also do you always have to prebook your lunch or evening meal everyday (or sometimes) months in advance to get food in the hotels or parks ? We are travelling with ds (5) who is autistic and although he normally has set meals and times this whole trip is going to be one big learning experience forus and I just don't want to feel extra pressure regarding food !

Thanks

Michelle

Yes, EMH are only for resort guests. If you have ADRs (reservations) you can get in early but you will still need a pass to get in. It is a very good idea to pre-book table service reservations (TS). With the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) TS restaurants fill up very quickly. For counter service restaurants you can't make reservations any way. Good luck

Sorry to sound stupid, but could you clear this up for us ,we are staying in Cheyenne in Febuary, but have booked through Expedia, can we use the EMH or do you have to of booked through Disney, to have the benefit of magic hours
thanks
Linnielass :confused3

It doesn't matter who you have booked with, if you're staying at a Disney onsite hotel (Cheyenne is one :goodvibes ) you get EMH.

I think this post is referring the WDW not Disneyland Paris.

Michele if you are concerned then prebook your restaurants, it's certainly not essential especially in low season for most restaurants, Cafe Mickey could be an exception as there constantly seems to be a queue outside this one. If it makes it easier then make reservations, they can easily be cancelled or re-sheduled whilst at the resort if necessary. Just noticed you are going in April if the holiday coincides with Easter hols it will be noticeably busier than when the schools are back.
Enjoy your planning.:)

Thanks all,

I will make some provisional reservations I think and as you say change them on site if need be.

Is the Davy Crockett ranch considered as an on site hotel and entitle you to the EMH? And how do the EMH work? Do you just turn up 2 hours early and show your pass? Many Thanks

Yes, to both your questions. :goodvibes

Here's the link to EMH, so if the park is opening at 10am you can get in two hours beforehand! :yay:

Make sure you have your Hotel ID as your park passes alone are not enough to get early entry :)
