If you wanna deal with less crowds which would be better to do? Do the park that has EMH in the morning, night or skip the EMH park altogether and go to the one that doesnt have the EMH for that day?

I personally like the morning. You can see the opening "ceremony" and the gate countdown. But I can't get up that early every morning. If you are a night owl, EEMH are GREAT too b/c the crowds dwindle and you car hear the sounds of Disney. Little things especially on Main Street, that you dont hear when there are alot of people.

The Unofficial guide says to skip the MH parks altogether, due to overcrowding...... :confused3

we always do early mornings for MK... we get every ride done before our 11:30 adr for lunch, then take it slow the rest of the day, whether we leave the park and swim, or stay and do fast passes and rides that don't have long lines, people watch, shop, snack, etc. We get the best of both worlds of commando touring and taking it easy.

i can't say for the other parks which is better. the only thing with the nighttime one is i've read (i've never stayed there for one) is that non-resort people are still in the park, they just can't get on the rides w/out a wristband, but they can walk around, eat, (i'm sure some try to get on the rides)... so it's more crowded than the morning since they simply don't let anyone in in the am who is not a resort guest (although while i'm thinking of this, we've used our ap's for early entries and i don't know how they would know we were resort guests or not)... hmmmmm.....

ok, i guess i wasn't too much of a help.

I would prefer going back to E-nights. The extra cost was minimal and the crowds were much smaller so you could go on more attractions. I hope after this 50th celebration they go back to E- nights. :thumbsup2

I would prefer going back to years ago when the visitor level was lower, in general, but neither situation is likely to happen.

We were just at WDW the first week of Aug. and had a great trip. We did EMH-mornings and it worked out great. The parks really didn't start getting crowded until around noon. Then one night my DH and myself decided to go and do the EMH-evenings at Epcot. It was so crowded. We did TT in the single riders line and then went to see Soarin and it was a 70min wait. It was wall to wall people. We just left after TT. I don't mind a crowd for like the fireworks but not when you can't just walk around.

We love the EMH mornings!

Good luck and have a great trip. No matter what you decide make sure you use the fastpass system. It really helps.

Oh believe me I plan on taking full advantage on the fast passes. Always do. I think we will just go ahead and do rides for about an hr and then eat around 9am.

What's E-Nights? :confused3

What's E-Nights?

I believe it was a program a few years back when they would re-open the park after-hours for a small/nominal admission fee. I never went so I don't know if all the rides were open or only a few....

Here's some info on E-ride nights from allearsnet.com:

http://allearsnet.com/tp/etik.htm

Not all the rides were open, and they didn't offer it at all times of the year, particularly in 2003 - 2004, when it was apparently being phased out. There hasn't been an E-ride night since 8/04. The last one scheduled was cancelled due to Hurricane Charley.

We were there at the end of July. We did EMH at MK, AK and MGM. We had a 15 minute line to get in at AK, but once in, we walked on the Safari, Rapids, Dinosaur, etc. The rest of the parks we walked right on the rides also. We did e-ticket night at MK in 2004, we really liked this. We walked on everything that was open including all the mountains. I really that that.

I can't recall anyone ever saying an EMH AM was crowded ... but the park will become crowded as the day wears on.

Therefore when it comes to AM EMH I profess you should get in ... ride ... get out ... all before noon.

We have had great experiences with EMH AM's. You truly do have to get up early though ... people dont' like to get up early and you reap the benifits! We are planning on two EMH in the AM ... with the intention of being done by noon and going to another park that PM.

As far as PM EMH's I have no first hand experience but I hear it's a mixed bag of crowded vs non-crowded. I think the longer you can hang at night the better. But .. it makes sense that in general evening EMH would be more crowded than it's AM counterpart.

We have a late dinner at 8:30 one night at WCC that happens to coincide with MK being open for a PM EMH. IF we feel up to it after dinner we may head over to scope it out ... but we are not planning on any other PM ones.

We did evening EMH last week at MK and loved it! Everything was a walk on for us after 9 p.m. except Dumbo which was a whole 20 minutes ;) .

We did morning EMH the next day at AK and while it was nice to get on Safari right away, the crowds were pretty thick early on. :crowded:

I like the mornings. MUCH less crowded...people want to stay in bed.

But they nights ones are usually more crowded people figure...hey I am already out
