There are 2 Fantasmic shows the night we'll be there (after hopping from MK sometime in the afternoon). Our FP+ are for MK since A&E are a must. Question is, is it better to watch the 9pm show, then hit the rides til midnight, or wait til the 1030 Fantasmic? I'm thinking we might fare better if we do the 9 pm show. I know people not staying for EMH can get into line until 10 pm, and can even watch the late Fantasmic. If we do the late show, will thousands of people be scurrying to get to RnR and ToT one last time before close? Any tips?

I have read that most people go to the earlier show and leave Hollywood Studios afterwards. Therefore, I think it would be better if you ride the attractions during the first show and attend the later show.

When I was there last July, there was a HUGE line for the first show so we decided to skip that show. We showed up for the 2nd show and there was no line at all. The theatre was about 75% full so most of the center seats were taken, but there were still plenty of seats remaining. I would recommend waiting for the later show just to avoid waiting in line for an hour or more.

I was hoping to see Fantasmic and still ride as much as we can with a shorter wait. So the later show is still the way to go? Are the ride lines way shorter then? I'm hoping to still hit a ride after the show, but it'll be tough if everyone else has the same plan. I've never been there in the evening.

When we were there in March, the first show was definitely worth skipping. The line was incredibly long. We managed to get on RNRC and TOT. After we went and got in line for the second showing.
