I know people say after the park opens to around mid-day it becomes crowded...and some people say they leave... Is it still crowded by late afternoon? I'm just wondering if some resort guests come at 8AM then leave between 11AM and 2PM when it starts to get crowded would that make a late afternoon more reasonable?

Also, didn't EMH just start this year? We only have from Jan to March to do any sort of comparisons/analysis on crowds and this time of the year isn't really crowded (except spring break). Is most of these assumptions just theories? So are people saying that even in this time of year during an EMH day the parks were so crowded??? Like July crowded or just slightly more people there than another day of the week?

EMH used to be the only "plus-hours" at WDW. In January WDW added ELH. You will find much discussion in many threads re. benefits of going to Park with EMH. We do it & have always found it a huge benefit. We tried ELH many times in January & found it to not be very useful until very late. You'll also read in many threads most folks have a challenge getting up in the AM & pulling their DH/DW or others along. So vast majority arrive at WDW Parks between 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. Your choice: Up early & to-the-Parks, or arrive mid-day & stand in long lines. Of course, use FastPass whenever possible when arriving with-the-crowds.
