Just been having a look on Disney website to price up a June trip.

From what I read on there, it sounds like EMH is only on during the 15years Celebration, and that is will not continue after April.

Is this correct? Has EMH only been for the Celebrations and will no longer happen after April? I was kind of counting on this being a regular happening!!

:confused3

i cant find anything listed after march. you could always give them a ring and they would be able to confirm for you.

It only started when the 15th celebrations did but they trialled it the previous year as the first time we went we got it (the easter before the 15th started)

As its been popular and an incentive to stay on site I think it will continue but thats just my opinion.

Has there not been something on the info about the next yrs celebrations about it? or hinting at it?

I can't find anything after April. I really hope it carries on as this is our favourite part of the day!

I will go and have another look.......

I thought they'd said something about introducing Mickey's Magic Hours? Instead of calling it EMH?

The 15th celebrations finish on the 7th March and we're booked from the 12th and have EMH every day of our stay, so I take that to mean they are continuing with them, fingers crossed. :)

It is definitely on in March AND April, but nothing after that it seems - I am still hunting though and may give them a ring....!

It would be nice if they did stay. I know that the 1st couple of years they had them and all the attractions were open. Man those were the days. But before EMH the last 3 years, they had AP and Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfasts that were similar.

It will be interesting to see what happens - we all know EMH makes a huge difference.

There will be EMH, it just won't be called that - it'll be Mickeys Magic Hours instead, for at least the year of Mickeys Magical Party in DLRP (I read this on DLRPMagic ages ago). So from April 2009 for a year, there will still be EMH in some shape or form :) .

Whilst I'm sure that EMH will continue, having been so popular.
My understanding, going back to the original press release was that Mickey's Magical Hours referred to the events in the park.

"Mickey’s Magical Hours
The mega fiesta is happening all around and during Mickey’s Magical Hours, 4 extra special treats make the party even more Mousterrific!
It’s Party Time…with Mickey and Friends, a bunch of fun-filled party games where you can learn the Mickey’s ‘moust’ amazing moves! Minnie’s Party Train brings Disney/Pixar characters ready to mix’n’mingle!
Close by, It’s Dance Time…in Discoveryland where you’ll rock to the hi-tech dance music scene! And catch Hollywood’s hottest rev’in their engines at the dazzlin’ Disney’s"

Haha, I remember when it was the whole park!

I went on Space Mountain and Indiana Jones loads of times in a row and then felt sick for the rest of the day!

Reading that press release again Jill, it looks like Mickeys Magic Hours refer to the parks normal opening hours? I wonder where I got the idea that there would be EMH renamed for the Party year? Oooh fingers and toes crossed that EMH stays as well then :) .

Had a thought - they do happen occasionally! :rotfl:
and checked the new ebrochure April 09 -> November 09 and Extra Magic Hours are listed as one of the benefits on each of the Disney Hotel's pages. :)

Good thinking there Batman :goodvibes - my brochure also states EMH is carrying on, my brochure is for dates up to November 09.

Oooo, so it's looking positive. Good thinking you two!

This lack of public information really upsets me about DLRP - who should be a large enough company to not have this problem. Somewhere at DLRP the years EMH (be it by any name) must have already been planned, and staffing etc planned alongside, but the web site still only runs up to April for EMH, and up to October for hotel reservations of any kind.

That annoys me because I'm trying to book up for May. I'm sure there will be EMH of some sort, but there's no confirmation. EMH is probably the decision maker for us as to whether we stay at Cheyenne, or try a non-disney hotel. We only use the hotel as somewhere to sleep and have breakfast, so EMH is really the only major plus for us (of course we like the theming, but we've been 4 times before...)

Hopefully they'll get this information into the public domain soon, because I don't understand why it shouldn't be well planned in a company of this size and with (otherwise) such excellent customer service.

See you in May folks... and then we've decided we want to see the parks at Christmas....

Its in print in the new glossy brochure I picked up from my travel agent this week :goodvibes - the usual blurb in "special treats and special offers" - the small print is the usual too, EMH dates can be checked 6 months prior to arrival on the official DLRP website. Whats interesting in the small print, and something I've not noticed before, is this -

"On certain dates, Walt Disney Studios Park may be added or may replace Disneyland Park"

Is this new? Can I get all excited at the prospect :rotfl: :rotfl: ????????

Just been checking on the Disney website and EMH is now showing as happening until July, so that has put my mind at ease abit!!

I don't think so. We were told this in October and December. I guess it's just a backup unless something happens and they can't open the Disneyland Park
