EMH in January ... to use or not to use

hi all, we are booked to stay onsite mid January (after MLK Day) for our first trip. No park hoppers. Not sure if we should utilize the EMH at the parks or avoid them. If anyone could give some advice that would be greatly appreciated!

When I went at that time of year we utilized them as needed. For instance, we rode a few things (Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania) during EMH because those lines shortened once Fantasmic was over.

It should be fairly quiet after new years. And park hours will probably be shorter so I would do EMH even with no hoppers.

We are doing evening EMH in late January at MK and EP. With the park hours so short that time of year, it seems like a good idea. I've done a little research and haven't found any reason not to take advantage of the extra 2 hours.

The first two hours of park time will often be the best, regardless of being EMH or not.
