EMH FP+60 Deal WDW Holiday Inn Disney Springs Resort Area

Does anyone know what the requirements are to get the EMH at 60-day FP+ benefits booking at Holiday Inn Disney Springs Resort Area?

I would guess you need to book through IHG (Holiday Inn Parent Company) and not a 3rd party reseller like Hotels.com as I would think you need an IHG Reservation number to take advantage of the benefits?

Can you purchase tickets from a 3rd party like undercovertourist.com? Or do you have to purchase through Disney to get the affiliated resort benefits?

As you suggested, I have successfully linked HI DS with an IHG reservation number. Not sure about third party though. Others will have to chime in.

I forgot to mention. We have linked with third party ticket vendors in the past including Undercover Tourist.

I just got back from my trip a couple days ago. I stayed at the Wyndham Garden on hotel plaza boulevard and I booked thru Booking for my hotel room there. They have a reservation number on your confirmation sheet you enter into My Disney experience and the next day it showed up in my plans in MDE. Disney’s website says it may take 24hrs for it to show up once you submit the hotel info. I purchased my tickets thru Disney so can’t say anything in that area.

Doesn't matter how you book. If you're staying at a qualifying hotel, you get the perks. Now, sometimes 3rd party booking sites might take longer for the confirmation number to come through and link, but as long as you give yourself a few days lead time, you should be okay.

I will say I was unable to get my Best Western Disney Springs reservation to link to Disney, despite calls to Hotwire, Best Western and Disney. It SHOULD link, but doesn't. So a Disney CM made my FP reservations over the phone for me. My case seems pretty rare, though, and fortunately, there was a workaround for the problem.
