So, with a couple of days to go :cool1: I am wondering about the below;

We check in at L'Elysee Sat night, leaving early Sunday to check into our main hotel of the trip (Sequoia), I was wondering if we'd be able to use EMH during the first morning?

Another question is regarding breakfasts, I know usually they are included in the hotel, but as it's first day obviously we wont be getting one... so does anyone recommend a good place to eat for breakfast? :)

Many thanks.

chacter breakfast at cafe mickey at 7.30 and 9.30 think if your staying in one of the disney hotels, its about 12 to 16 euros

Yes you can use EMH on your first morning. Sorry I can't help you with breakfast.

Thanks guys, do you have any idea of what the cafe mickey breakfast consists of, and is it best to book?

Starbucks has breakfast or McDonalds if you want even cheaper

just had a look and it is 12 euros each.
includes breads, pastries, cereals, scrambled egg, fruit juice and hot drinks.

Also chacters there are a bonus

You need to book Cafe Mickey breakfast - there are 2 sittings (I think its still done that way) at about 7.30 and 9.30. Its a hot and cold food buffet.

The price is higher if you are not staying in a disney hotel so if you are doing it before you check into the SL Im not sure if youd get it at the lower price or not.

Is breakfast not included in the Elysee?

Weve often just gone into the park for EMH and then gone to Cable Car bakehouse on Mainstreet for a Pain au chocolate and hot drink

Or you could flash your new card and go to Salon Mickey.

Great idea - do EMH until after 9am, and then pop to Salon Mickey for hot drinks and pastries for breakfast - enjoy knocking on that special door :goodvibes.

Do you have to leave the park for Salon Mickey? We've only been once and it was before we went in and we left straight into the park from the lounge.

yes, the "in" door at Salon Mickey is outside the turnstiles to the main park (you can try knocking on the door inside the park but as thats a whole lounge and a wall/doorway away from where the CM is, it won't do much good ;)). You can exit Salon Mickey either through the "in" door if you're heading off to the Studios, or the "out" door which means you don't use the turnstiles of the main park.

When we checked into the New York at about nine in the morning, we didn't even consider breakfast being a possibility, but the CM who checked us in asked us if we'd already eaten and told us to go on through. We still weren't convinced until the CMs at the dining room directed us to a table. It can't hurt to try at the Sequoia.

Thanks guys, I called and 9.30 was full so i've booked it for 8am... bit early though so not sure if we'll make it in time!

I wasn't sure if there was a bell or alterative entrance in the park for Salon Mickey, we didn't really check. None of the staff at the Cheyenne reception knew where it was, they phoned to find out for me (I thought it was at the left turnstiles) then told me I couldn't go in as it was for Actionairres only... I told them we were and they then gave us proper directions.

We were in there once when someone knocked on the 'in the park' door, quite repeatedly in fact. ;) There was a CM tidying up in the lounge who eventually opened the door, told them to use the proper entrance and promptly shut the door again!!
