We spent Easter week down in WDW last year. We stayed at the All Star Sports. We were not planning on going to any park on Easter day itself because we figured it would be too crowded. We ate an early lunch at the WL and then headed back to our hotel to enjoy the pool. Well, the pool was SOOOOOOOOOOO crowded there is no way we wanted to stay there. It was myself, my boyfriend and his 17 year old son. We figured we might as well go to the parks. We hit MGM first - got there around 3:30 and saw the last showing of the Lights, Motor, Action show. We toured the park the rest of the day and watched Fantasmic. We left the park after that (we were driving our own car) and got back to our hotel around 10:30 pm. There were EMH at MK that night. I said - what are we doing going back so early - lets head to MK. We got there around 11:00 pm and stayed until 3:00 am. I would definately recommend this. The park was a little crowded when we first got there but it got less and less as the night (or should I say morning) wore on. We practially walked on every ride we wanted to. We rode SM at least 4 times without even having to get off the ride. There was definately something special about walking down Main Street at 3:00 am. I made sure I took a video of the castle with the time showing on my camcorder.
The next morning (or that morning) we slept late and went to the AK. We probably got there around noon. There were EMH at that park that night so we were able to stay there till 11:00 pm. When we got to the park all the FP for Everst were gone but they added more at 8:00 pm when the EMH started and we got them for 9:00 pm.
I would highly recommend using the EMH. I guess it also depends on the ages of the kids of there are any going with you. Only problem was we did not get to see Wishes or Spectro Magic as these both happend earlier in the evening. We did see Wishes from the beach by the Poly another night after our dinner at 'Ohanas.
