We have a PS at California Grill for 8 on an evening the park closes at 9. If we go to MK before our PS and get wrist bands will they let us back in for EMH after we have dinner?
 
You can pick up your wristbands at the gate when you come back to MK after dinner. No need to get them ahead of time.
