EMH (AM) park arrival time

How early should we get to the parks during EMH (AM) at Epcot and MK? EMH starts at 8 AM the days we plan to go, and we are early risers. We do, however, have small kids who don't enjoy standing around waiting so hoping to time this right.

15-30 min. before the posted EMH opening time.

BTW, to be clear, if you arrive 15 min. before, you will be behind a lot of other guests who arrived earlier.

I would pack some small activity booklets, etc for them to keep them occupied while in lines throughout the day.
