I thought I saw somewhere that you had to have multi-day hopper ticket to participate in EMH....Yes/No???

Here's why I'm asking...We're doing a 3 day DCL cruise in November (DS's 13th b-day) we fly home on Monday, so we'll have Sunday for a park day. We're bringing our nephew with us this time (also 13), he's never been to WDW. If we could only do one park, we thought, since he's never been we'd do MK. I noticed that for Mar - May that EMH evening on Sundays is at MGM. So now I'm thinking how can I do both???

1. I have to stay on-site. (No problem there!)
2. I'm assuming I need a park hopper ticket to get to 2 parks in the day (even though it's for EMH...Yes?
3. Does it need to be a multi-day ticket? Or was that before MYW tickets were introduced?

The one-day/one-park is approx $300, the one-day/hopper is approx $500. I'm not sure I want to spend another $200 for EMH though, but I have a friend that's daughter works at an Orlando TV station, she's going to try and get us some Media hopper passes. If she can come up with 2, I'll buy the other 3 at $100/each.

TIA! :cheer2: :cheer2:

It needs to be a park hopper if you MK during the day and MGM during EMH.

It doesn't need to be a multi day BUT it makes sense to get a 10 day park hopper no expiration. Since you go quite often, the tickets would be used, and it would be so much more cost effective.

Yes, you're right...we were just going to disney (instead of the cruise) and I was going to buy the 10 day hopper/no exp. for the 4 of us and 4 day hopper for Dnephew, but since we're cruising instead, (the trip to the parks is just an extra) I don't want to fork over that much money on top of the cruise.
