Emeril's Pasta Sauces?

Who has tried his bottled sauces? I bought one the other day and haven't tried it yet. I'm afraid I'm gonna fall in love with it. I bought the Roasted Gaaahlic. I almost got the vodka one, but I hate vodka eek: ), I know the alcohol cooks out of it, but still that taste is nasty. There's no way I'm trying that anchovie one. I hate seafood.

If you've tried it, do you like it, which one do you prefer?

I only tried the vodka one & we love it
I made it with baked chicken & pasta
I put it over both
It was yummy

By the way it doesn't taste anything like vodka
try it you'll like it

What does it taste like? I know vodka tastes like rubbing alcohol. Does it have a tomatoey or a garlic taste or something?

I haven't tried the pasta sauces ( dernt dare too! )...but the red pepper sause....is to die for!! Not tooo hot, just right, and when compared to tabassco...."quite" low in sodium!

I didn't know how to describe it
asked DH & his description remember his not mine
"creamy tomatoey stinky cheesy good sauce"
I don't remember it being too garlicy but we love garlic
so there would have to be quite a bit for me to really notice it

[Tense]

I've tried the Red Pepper sauce and I love it. If you like red peppers it's really ..really good. It didn't have that jarred taste at all. Now my DD trhied it too... and hated it. But I think she thought it was more like a tomato base, and it's not.. just red pepper tasting... very good!

Well, we tried the Roasted Gaaahlic one today. OOOH! Emeril (or whomever) didn't get stingy on the garlic! It's got a LOTTA garlic in it! My ds said it's the best sauce he's ever tasted. It's a STRONG sauce! I like it.
