Emergency Extension for Cruise payment-also staying DVC

Has anyone ever gotten an extension for their last payment because of an emergency? Thanks...we need a miracle right about now.... and some Pixie Dust! We are staying for land/sea but don't want to have to cancel the sea part ((

Not exactly what you are asking but:
DD(Adult) was scheduled to go with us on a family cruise. The week before the cruise the war in Iraq started and her BiL was KIA. The funeral was scheduled for the week of the cruise. We had to cancel her out of our room. We had booked her cruise on DVC points, DCL & DVC refunded the points without restrictions once I provided proof.
