Has anyone stayed at Emerald Island recently? I have found a place for some friends of ours and am wondering what it is like. They will be in the town houses right next to the club house.

Any positive or negatives welcome.

Rob

We loved staying here in Nov 07, the location is fab and it's a lovely community.

I read the US boards and 1 lady owns there. The reports are always very favourable for EI. It is near to the parks, gated and said to be nicely landscaped.

will go and take a look myself.

Thanks for the replies

Hiya

We have stayed on Emerald Island for the last few trips.
We really like it, not stayed in the apartments near clubouse really though, only the villas.
It's really great for location to the parks and nicely laid out.

ive stayed in a 4 bed pool villa on this comples, was very nice and well kept, the prices for the villas witrh pool privatly arent much more than the townhomes, and good to have your own pool.

we have stayed at emerald isalnd a lot and love it , nice villas great location, we have never stayed in a town house though

Stayed there in August last year and loved it, great location for the parks and the clubhouse is a nice place to chill out in

Thanks everyone, I am sure our friends will love the place.

We're going back there again next week. We like it very much. And we stay in townhouses.

Have a top time fellow chorleyite

We're booked at EM in August and haven't read a bad report about it yet, so after staying at Southern Dunes (nice but too far away) and Lindfields (nice but with no resort amenities) we are really looking forward to it.

Friends are from charnock richard as is my sister who will be with us in october

I was playing golf last night at Charnock Richard. The wife was brought up in Coppull but I dragged her to sunny Chorley.

Looking forward to our break in 4 weeks. We stayed at Windsor Hills last year, but we have chosen Emerald Island this year because there was more options of rooms sizes. We are with parents, in-laws, kids, brother in law so it should be fun. Seems like a long time ago since we booked it with Travel City, then having to re-book it all again with Virgin.
