As you can see my my countdown timer.. we board a plane this afternoon and head for Orlando. We are arriving at MCO at 8:30pm, and have reserved a car through National's Emerald Aisle as usual. We usually get fantastic cars when we rent from them in Memphis, I've gotten a Camry and a small SUV on the Aisle. But then again, it's Memphis, and I always rent in the morning.

Has anyone used National that late in the day and gotten a decent car? I fear that the Aisle will be empty, with just an old Chevy Malibu or Oldsmobile Alero sitting there. AND... if this is the case, since I paid for an intermediate, am I allowed to go to the Intermediate Aisle and pick? They let us do this at home sometime when the Aisle is sparse. I'd be happy with a Corolla for the fab gas mileage!

Enjoy your trip, Misty, and happy anniversary, your first of many, to both of you. Wishes of much health and happiness for you guys.

You have an intermediate at a miinmum on EA. You can also go to the intermediate area to select.

Have a great time!!!! :bounce:

Be happy if there is a Malibu, it is classified as full size and Alero's are nice. I have been there at 11 pm and found better than intermediate, ie: Bonneville. I believe that the EA is now the intermediate aisle, so, that is where you get to pick. EA is now for intermediates only. BTW, none of the cars are old. :)
