Emerald Aisle Reservation Question..

We need a car for 6, we ended up renting 2 cars and it saved us over $150. If (crossing my fingers) we find a minivan or a bigger car that can accomodate us all in the EA, can we just cancel the second reservation with the atendant at the exit? Will we have to pay any cancellation fees for the last minute cancellation? Anyone ever done this? I don't mind driving, but, I rather be the passenger and leave the driving to DH.

As I understand the cancelation policy,as long as it wasn't a Emerald reserve car, one that you specify, there is no penalty. I have canceled the day of the rental and not been charged. They did charge me for a van I reserved and canceled with less than 24 hours notice. To be sure I would call National customer service. Good luck.
