Embellishment Swap Questions- Group Set up listed in post 1

Mind you, if we're on the ban wagon, should we play? How about a "duplicates and leftovers" group for those who buy something really cute then get home and find another (or two) the same Or buy a whole roll of ribbon for one 2-page spread

I can open a group to fit this catagory or you can use the items to fill in another group. The nice thing about this swap is as long as it is fair and fits to catagory, you do not have to send the same thing to everyone.

How does Saturday morning sound.... I will open it up when I get up and then try to close it by Wednesday of next week. I want to be able to give everyone a chance.

It's about that time to start thinking about the Jan. 2010 embellishment swap. We have a few different options out there.

Option 1: We could set up the swap in the traditional way. Like this:
Group A:
Ribbon
1 yd per person
Groups could include: Ribbon, Fiber, Brads, Eyelets, Prima Flowers, Anything Metal, Anything Goes, Bling, plus anything else we dream up...


Options 2: We could set it up this way:
Group A: Red (everyone picks an embellishment and sends in a specific color)
Groups could include: Red, Blue, Yellow, pink, purple, brown, orange, green, black, white, plus anything else we could dream up....

What do you guys think? Let me know. I would like to so sign ups starting Jan. 2nd with a due date of Feb. 17th.

When we sign up do we say then what item (ribbon, brad etc) that we are giving?

I'm glad that your Secret Santa got you lots of stuff for your stash. Word has it she loves embellishments too!
