Embassy Vacation Resort Villas?????

DH and I are going in October for 7 nites(long overdo honeymoon) and we want to stay here. Iknow it is a timeshare deal and you have to take the tour to get the promotional rate but it seems like an incredible deal. It comes to $325 for 7 nites for a one bdrm condo king size bed,balcony blah blah blah.....We already own a two week timeshare(weeks 10&11) in orlando in March so we are farmiliar with this type of resort but we were wondering if anyone has any first hand opinion on this particular one. It is located on Lake Bryan BLVD. I think that is somewhere off from 535. Thanks in advance for any info..

Hi Can'tgetenufofwdw!

About 5 years ago we stayed at the Embassy Suites resort on
a RCI exchange. We loved it! At the time it was brand new(you could
still smell the paint in the hallways!).

We had a beautiful 3BDR/3BTH suite w/ a kitchen,dr, and huge balcony.
It is on a lake and very close to all attractions. We spent ALOT of
our time at the parks, but the pools and grounds are nice also.
We went in May, which is relatively quiet, but I recall it to be a great
peaceful retreat in the heart of it all. You will need a car though.
(Should be nice for a honeymoon!)

By coincidence, we are returning next month and staying across the street
at the Vistana Resort. We have 2 kids and thought we would try there.
( Any info about VR?)

If you have specific questions, I'll do my best to answer. (it's been a few years
and the mind is not what it used to be! ha-ha)

Thanks so much for the info. We will have a rental car so we will have the freedom to go wherever we want. My uncle just got back from Vistana Villages and had a wonderful time. He couldn't say enough great things about the place. That being said I'm sure you will have a wonderful time. A little off the topic..... where in Jersey are you located. I've spent alot of time in North Jersey over the years as that's where my aunt and uncle live and my uncle has a company.

I just got back a week ago from there and it is a wonderful condo. IT is huge and very pleasant. You definately need a car though because it is not very close to much (Its close to everywhere with a car, just not w/out). Although we did take a couple of walks to the stores and restaurants at night when it was beautiful out. We traded for our week and would do it again in a heartbeat. The nice thing is that there are only 3 bedrooms and its plenty big for two families to share. Enjoy!

Although I am originally from E. Orange, I have lived here in
Morris County for over 20yrs. It's pretty here and close to everything!

However, we are having to move further and further out to avoid
the congestion thats moving west. Where do your relatives live?

Small town called Monroe. It's on the other side of the mountain where they have the Rennaisance Festival. My cousin graduated from Saddle River Day School last year and now goes to Barnard College in the city. My uncle owns his own company GTFM in Hackensack not far from The Plaza. I love Joisey. The people are great, The weather is so much better(I'm in upstate NY-lots of snow) and it's just so busy and full of life all the time. Theirs always something to do. You're so lucky
