Hi! Has anyone stayed at the Embassy Suites-LBV recently? We are going with another family 11/6/04-11/13/04 and we are just wondering if anyone has any positives/negatives for this hotel. We got a rate of $119/night with full breakfast included. Anyone have any thoughts on that rate? It is a suite with 2 double beds and a queen pull out couch. Thanks!

Hi there! We are staying there next week for 10 days and I will make a point of posting to you on our return! We also got the same rate as you, although if you try to book now the rate has increased to around $199/night!

Hi Paula,

Enjoy your trip! Can't wait to hear from you when you get back. Wow! The rate went up to $199! I'm glad I booked when I did! Are you travelling with any kids? I have two daughters - one 9 yo and one who will be turning 6 late September.

Safe travels!

We stayed there 3 days in May on a timeshare promotion for $144. I thought that it was a solid resort, not as nice as our Marriott timeshare, but better than a regular hotel room. The breakfast is excellent and you can get some fruit for later in the day. They also have free drinks in the evening if you are there from 5:00-7:00. It looked like the interior atrium rooms were very nice. We stayed in one of the wings and the trash man came at 6:30 am to pick up the dumpster

The staff was very nice and wanted to help, so if you have any problems make sure you contact them. You get a refrigerator and microwave. You can't really cook, but you can do sandwiches or popcorn, etc. The pool was OK and had an indoor part in case of inclement weather. There is keyed access to the parking lot, so make sure you bring your room key. It is very close to DTD and the parks, with many restaurant options. We enjoyed Chevy's Mexican restaurant up the street.

All in all a solid place for home base in Orlando.

We got the same rate $119.00 We will be there 7/31-8/6 and then we will go to Cocoa beach for a day and night and then on to Daytona for the same. Then mother wants to go to Pensicola beach on the way home. We are driving from Oklahoma. Today it is 96 degrees here with a heat index of 102. Is this what it will be like in Florida?????

Yes Kayla, we have 3 boys, aged 5, 8 and 10, and are travelling from London, staying here for 10 nights and then on to Vistana Villages for 11 nights! Cant wait, boys are really excited and starting to think about packing! fortunately (or unfortunately really,) its been raining here in England for about 10 days so all the shorts and t's are unused - as is the suncream!! in fact, we are home from schooll early today as sports day was rained off!

ES's has a great rep and in a great location....................and yes, it will be in the mid 90's with lots of humidity.....usually a nice shower every afternoon to cool off a little......take lots of suncreen 30 or higher ( I work at U of Iowa in Ortho and Derm and get really exited about pushing the sunscreen) and drink lots of water or Gatoraid.

Have a great time....Ted
