I'm a cruisin' newbie - i'll just come right out and lay it on the table :)

Ok - as of now we have two dates for CRT breakfasts our second choice of Friday which is a day at the parks for us; and our first choice of Sunday which is our day we leave WDW and begin our 4-day cruise.

On Sunday our PS is at 8:10 and we are staying at the Poly. That is an EE day for MK.

Is this plan doable? Breakfast at the castle with a 11 a.m. pickup time from FL tours. We have a grocery stop scheduled on the way to Port to pick up wine, etc. Well, maybe we should stop on the way to the Poly and just get the wine and hang on to it for the cruise? (would it be safe? just kidding? I could probably restrain myself for four days!)

Anyhow, pickup time of 11 a.m. (grocery stop vs. not?) then onto the Port for check-in. I'm thinking that our advantage of being on a land-sea package and not having to check-in will make a later arrival time ok? That should put us there around noon if we don't stop.

BTW - we will probably try for Palo ressies, but we aren't set on it anyhow. Same for the spa. I'm more laid back in my thinking and don't want to rush the family to try to get them. If it happens good, if not that's ok too.

TIA

Wow, you realyl got it working there! :)

Yes, you should have no problems with that schedule, the only thing that might be iffy with the Palo's and grocery stop, but even that shouldn't get you there too late. The only thig is I don't remember where you pickup all the cruise documents; I think you still may have to stop at checkin at the terminal, I don't remember as it was a long time back we did the land/sea package.

The question was asked reciently and I don't think that there was an answer. "Will DCL transport your luggage if you are using a third party shuttle service?"

I suppose that if you are paying for DCL transfers they will take your bag even if you go via another shuttle service. But with "security" measures these days you never can tell, unless you ask them directly.

We did the 3 day land/4 days sea this spring. We had reservations for the Princess Breakfast in Epcot at 8:30 the morning we left. We made it back to our hotel in plenty of time for our van to pick us up to take us to the ship at 11:30. We stayed at POFQ. We didn't do a grocery stop but we were there in plenty of time to make Palo's reservations and spa reservations, sign the kids up for their clubs and book some babysitting time at Flounders. We had a great time!!

thanks for all your info!!! if nothing else it has put my mind to ease!
