Embarkation Day, Festival of Food Open?

First time cruisers going on the wish in two weeks! We’re planning to board early and go straight to a pool, and do the quick service (Festival of Foods) INSTEAD of the buffet, will festival of foods be open?

Any tips for first time cruisers? Two families with a 8YO and 4YO. We’re trying to keep it as relaxed as possible and avoid crowds wherever we can.

Yes go to pool first and yes festival of foods will open at noon. Try the different offerings there. All are very good.
