I read somewhere that there are two locations on the ship that are open for lunch this day but now I can not find the thread again...
Thought there was one that the CMs try and funnel everyone to but there is another one some where. We will have a long day of travel that day and not much food besides airline snacks.
I read the drink of the day is cheaper than others. Does anyone have examples of what kind if drinks these are and how MUCH cheaper they are?

On Dream class ships Cabanas buffet is open on deck 11 aft and Enchanted Garden is open on deck 2 midship. EG is also a buffet but has waiter service for beverages. EG is way more calming if you want a more quiet and serene lunch. Cabanas is the opposite, lots of people and the pool is outside the entrance, but it does have outdoor seating which is nice to enjoy your lunch and it is much quieter out there.

I don't drink so I can't help with that question, sorry.

Each ship has two restaurants open for lunch on the embarkation day - Cabanas (or Beach Blanket Buffet on the Wonder) and one of the MDRs. The difference is that in the MDR you are seated at a table and your waiter takes your drink order and brings it to you. Cabanas is a true help yourself buffet.

If you buy the drink of the day in the souvenir cup, then you can get it refilled with the drink of the day for a slightly lower charge, although I can't remember exactly how much it is - maybe $1 off? For an idea of the drinks of the day, check out the navigators for your cruise - the drink of the day is listed on the bottom of the first page of each day's navigator. http://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/ Some of the drinks I can remember are Bahama Mama, Paradise Punch, Yellow Bird, and Stingray.
