Hi all...my DH asked a question that I didn't know the answer to (after all these months of planning :faint: )

How long do they serve the embarkation buffet? do you HAVE to go right away?

Anne

My "Welcome Aboard" Navigator lists lunch at Parrot Cay as 11:45 to 2:00pm and Topsider's as 12:00pm - 3:30pm. Looks like you have plenty of time.

HOWEVER if certain folks are aboard (Incognito for example) there may not be any shrimp left if you get there late. :mickeybar

They have to stop in time for the lifeboat drill at 4:00.

buffet is often VERY full and food isnt outstanding im going to talk my family into a sit down lunch first day i think :)
Eric

Both Parrot Cay and Topsiders have a buffet for embarcation lunch. The main difference is the location.

LOL, CMmom!
It is actually my husband you have to worry about!!
He will bogart the shrimp, but I will be guarding the cold mango soup.

ok you buffet experts....is the buffet "as good" at 2:30 as it is at high noon?

we will be having a big breakfast and late dinner so it seems more logical to eat a bit later.

We have DCL transfers coming from Caribbean Beach Resort...will we get there in enough time to enjoy the buffet or should we grab something from the hotel to hold us over? Does anyone know about what time you would get to the ship riding the bus?

Thanks in advance!!! :flower:

That isn't an option on the ship, is it?

You will get there in plenty of time to enjoy the buffet. You should be there by 1pm or so.

The food is continually replaced and refreshed. Makes no difference if you are there at noon or 2:30
