Next week my extended family and I set sail on the Dream....could a recent cruiser please share how the room keys are handled? I believe they are on the fish extender now. If so, we can't get our room keys until the staterooms open, about 1:30 or 2. If that is the case, how do we purchase adult beverages to accompany lunch?
Thanks in advance
Barb

The room keys are still put on the fish extenders. We did not order drinks before the boat left because there was only 1 bar open (as per port regulation), and the MDR lunch server said it would take awhile. I’m not sure if this was a Canadian port regulation or if it’s the same everywhere. I’m sorry I can’t directly answer your question but wanted to provide the additional information as an FYI.

Thanks for the super fast responses!!
I wondered if the purchase process would be similar to the "good ol days" when everyone signed slips of paper....the signatures of my adult children (smoothies) from years ago are a joy everytime I flip through the scrap book (and I did a great deal of that during Covid).

Sailed the Fantasy in June. They don't take your card anymore, just room number. We had to ask our assistant server for the slip each time we ordered a drink...he never seemed to remember.
