I've been researching and looking at deck plans.

Which deck do you enter the ship on? I'm a first time cruiser, so I hope this is not a silly question.

Thanks

Deck 3, midship...into the lobby.

That's only when the ship is at Port Canaveral. At all other islands and for tenders, you get on/off ship at forward or aft access hatch on Deck 1.

A word of advice about debarking while in port. Don't try to take the elevator all the way to deck one. It's much easier to take the stairs, as the elevators are usually very crowded, especially in the morning.

Also, the public areas on level one do not run the length of the ship. So, if only one of the fore/aft hatch is open, you should find out which one and get to that section of the ship at a higher deck before going down to the 1st.

When LoveMickey said "Embark", I immediately thought of embarkation at the start of the cruise, not at the stops along the way. I'm sure that LoveMickey appreciates the clarification however.
