Emails from WH fir 299.00 a week??

Somehow I get these emails from WH having certain weeks at 299. Anyone else get these ?

Your emails are probably from vacationcentralflorida.com. i signed up for their emails. we have not been able to make our trip, but I like their policies. They would prefer to do drastic price reductions ($199-399) rather than have the units sit open. As with all their units it's sat-sat rental, weekly rate, add tax and cleaning. The website has a long and thorough question answer page, plus they have responded to us within hours to a simple question.
If you don't want the emails, just unsubscribe. It's through safesubscribe so it will be done.

300.00 sounds too good for a rental.

I wouldn't doubt it. We paid $490 for a week at Emerald Island before, just as a normal price through a private party and as a pp mentioned, if it's slow, some would rather rent the units for at least something as opposed to nothing. Kinda like the same concept as Priceline where you can get $50/night rooms in some pretty nice hotels. They'd rather rent leftover inventory for at least something than let the room sit empty and get absolutely nothing.

We rented through Vacation Central Florida in April, 2012 for the $299 price. The unit we were in was great. It was very clean, well furnished, fully equipped, and we had absolutely no problems. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I have rented off them and all was good. I am a bit concerned about the post on Windsor hills site.

False advertising

The WH Master Association have been alerted to the following website: http://www.vacationcentralflorida.com/
In the questions & answers section ,they state "We are endorsed by the Windsor Hills Masters"

WE WISH TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR THAT THE MASTER ASSOCIATION HAS NEVER ENDORSED THIS WEBSITE IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM

On the contrary,the site has been the subject of many discussions regarding the sales tactics employed, which the Master Association strongly disapprove.
I do not propose to elaborate on these on this forum, but there are many items on the site which are simply untrue and false.
The Board are currently considering what action to be taken against this website.

For the record,there are only two sites approved and endorsed by the WH Master Association:
http://www.WindsorHillsOfficialRentals.com & http://www.WindsorHillsBest.com

Both of these sites work very closely with Management and promote honest owners at Windsor Hills.
They do not allow any rental agents, Management Companies or vacation listing agents to be members.

We've rented from vacationcentralflorida.com several times over the past 5 years and have never had a bad experience.

Just back from our stay at one of their units (and booked it with a promo price of $299). Happy to say no issues what so ever. In fact I found it to be cleaner than some of the actual Disney properties that we have stayed at.

I get these emails too. Just know that those low prices do not include cleaning or taxes. By the time you add those in, you are at about $450. There are other sites to book directly with the owner for that same price (HomeAway.com is one of them.)
