I saw the line this morning when I went to Akershus. 5 hours long! Absolutely insane. I don't think it's worth it at all. I didn't really believe it until I saw it for myself
We waited almost 4 hours last week. We were there last Thurs (2/27) and I had breakfast reservations for 8:15 and we left breakfast right about 9am. The crowd level was suppossed to be a 3 and it was very cold, cloudy and rainy. I had NO idea the line would form so fast but we just missed the rush from the people coming in and the line formed 3+ hours right in front of my eyes . . .I could have killed myseld for not leaving breakfast a little earlier. Everyone in line with us had all rushed from the gate and were still 3 hours back Also they said 2.5 hours to start and after 2 hours we hardly moved up. The line in the back barely moves. My daughter is 6 and really wanted to wait so we did. I figured she would ask to drop out after an hour so I hopped in line. . .but to my surprise she stuck it out! Time actually went by fast.
Maybe kind of a newbie question, but we picked up Memory Maker for our first WDW trip coming up in April. There is a Disney photographer there at Anna & Elsa's Meet & Greet, right?
If so, how many pics will they normally take?
What about going on a day where there are morning extra magic hours? The day in May I'm looking at Epcot is open 9-9. EMH are 8-9. Can we go straight to Norway at 8? A &E won't come out until 9 right? Curious to know if anyone tried this approach and how long the wait was
Just out of curiousity, do you remember how long it took for all of the Princesses to come to your table? Did you leave as soon as you met them, or had time from the last one until you left? I have a 8:10 reservation and plan on leaving about 8:45, but I don't really want to miss any of the Princesses. I will and leave everyone else to finish up, but I'd be happy to meet them all then get out by 8:45.

I just scored a res at Akershush for 4 at 8:30am. We enter the park early based on our res and wife and daughter head straight to the Elsa line while son and I enjoy our breakfast.
We had 8:15 but lined up with all the 8am people so I think they took us in earlier. . they check you in and then call your party. There is a line in the beginning to get your free photo with Belle (which is a very nice keepsake) which backs up some. The princesses started coming out when we are at the buffet part so we missed one but she came back pretty quickly and we saw all of them in the beginnning of our meal. They do a princess parade thing and we had seen them all before that. My check was printed at 8:45 and we left at 9am (about 10 miuntes too late!)
The Princesses start coming out at approximately 8:10-8:15am. It depends on where you are sitting as to how quickly they will visit your table. Last time we did Akershus, we saw all the Princesses within 10-15 minutes of us sitting down. Other times, it has taken us 45 minutes. It is likely you will meet them all before you want to leave at 8:45am though.
What are the lines for this like in Disneyland? Is it comparative or is Disneyland not seeing anything like this?
I agree, something will give. Especially if there is a lot of no shows! And I wonder what will happen then.
