THURSDAY 1ST FEBRUARY
BLIZZARD BEACH
We got to Blizzard beach just after opening rented a locker and got a sunbed by the iceburg things and decided that we would set up camp for the day here.
the weather today was going to reach 80 but it was windy so the ski lift was not open till 12.00.
We got talking to a mum and son who came from Manchester so Jack and her son Josh ran off to play together which was nice as i got to do some sunbathing as i am not a big fan of water parks then Jack and Josh wanted me to go on family raft ride so as the lift was not open yet we had to walk up there which is a killer on your legs as i was the only adult on our boat and obviously the heaviest i seemed to go down backwards on this ride and as soon as we got of the kids went on the lazy river and left me to walk back on my own after a while i went to look for jack and found him coming out of a slide into 8 foot of water
jack is only a basic swimmer i had to tell him to stay out of that part he then told me that he wanted to go on family raft ride again and as the lift was working now we decided to go on that well i don't like cable cars and do not know why i choose that way to go up we had a young lad come up on our car with us and didn't make me feel better when he told me his brother hates the lift and told me the bits his brother hated
we went on this 3 times and jack occupied himself on the iceburgs and the slides aroundat about 1.00 jack decided that he wanted a hot dog which is strange for him as he hates the sausages in them so i brought him one and said we would share it as it was too big for him when we got to the lounger he informed me he only wanted the batch so i was left with the sausage as the afternoon wore on Jack's mood was getting worse and he was starting to really get stroppy and we left Blizzard Beach at 3.30 before i killed him
As i got quite sunburned while there i put it down to the tiredness of the holiday and too much sun we got the bus to Epcot and then the monorail to TTC and the ferryboat to m.k as we were on the boat it started to rain so i was glad that we left when we didwe got to the Haunted Mansion and it was still raining so we had a 10 minute wait for this by the time we got out it had stopped so i decided to do Splash Mountain Jack don't like drops so he missed this which was a shame because apart from the drops he would have liked it this was a walk on because of the rain shower which was great we got some splash mountain pressed pennies then we went on POTC which got stuck for about 10 minutes and all the boats were bumping into each other we then went on the mad teacup ride which was a walk on and then we went to the rose garden to watch wishes there was an old american couple who were there who decided to leave as there was a massive rain cloud overhead (but luckily the rain kept off till we we were on our way back to the hotel)Wishes was at 6.30 tonight as it was the pirates and princess party i had asked jack if he wanted to do this during the week but he wasn't interested.We had to wait for 3 buses till we got on but at least we got seats we got dinner from the foodcourt and took it back to our room as we were tired and watched home alone.
