Need a quick answer regarding whether or not a UK Resident needs a Visa to enter into the US.

Pls Advise ASAP!

Hi Scratch,

In general if you have a UK Passport then you are eligible for entry to the US as a tourist via the Visa Waiver Programme. This is a small green form that they usually give out to you on the flight over to the states that you fill in and hand in when you get to immigration.

My boss has visitors from the UK that want to cross into the US from Canada. So if I am reading this correctly they can pick up the VWP at the Border?

Yup!

As long as they don't have a criminal record or have been refused entry to the States previously then they should be able to use the green VWP form
