Elevators at HHI?

How many buildings have elevators at HHI? I know the building that you check into does have an elevator. Are most of those units HA? We were there once in a HA studio. I'm going with family in July and have a 2 bedroom unit and a 1 bedroom unit. I didn't make any requests, because I just realized the elevator issue.

The onlu building at HHI with an elevator is that main building. You can also access the building attached to it, building 12, by using that elevator, then walking straight across to your unit. No, the majority of the units in the main building (building 11) and the attached (12) aren't HA, but all the HA are in those two. The only way to guarantee a HA 2 BR would be in building 11 or 12, otherwise you will be walking up a flight of stairs (or two) to a non-HA villa. The way they do HA 2 BR is by combining the lock-off 1 BRs and studios on the first floor (which is one story up) of #11 or #12. All the studios and 1 BRs on the second and top floor are non-HA. I can't remember the room #s of the HA ones, but that's where they are. Have fun in July!

Another question. Then are all of the 2 bedrooms in the buildings 11 and 12 lockoffs? We really were hoping for a dedicated 2 bedroom.

Yes, all villas in Buildings 11 and 12 are lock-offs and they are usually reserved as a 2BR only if needed for accessibility. There are 16 lock-offs in Buildings 11/12.

Building 11 has the only elevator at the resort and I believe that all of the HCA villas are also in Building 11.

For a 2BR and 1BR the best likely arrangement would to have both in one of the buildings with a GV (#16,18,19, 28 and 30) or a 1BR in Building 11/12 and a dedicated 2BR in building 13 or 14.

Thank you. DDiL (they will have a new baby) got back to me and said that she didn't care if she had steps, and we are more concerned with the dedicated 2 bedroom because of the number of beds, I think we'll just leave it as is, and not request the elevator buildings. My family helps me a lot and I will have help with the steps. We all enjoyed the treehouse stays.

Just to note that all of the lock-off's that are not in buildings 11 and 12 are under a GV. Some have indicated that these units can be noisy.
