Elevators at HH?

We are staying at HH for a week in August and have reserved a Marsh view room. Do they have elevators there or are you required to take the stairs? I have someone coming with us who has problems with their back and going up 4 flights of stairs can be a challenge.

I believe an elevator is only available in the main lodge building (I may be wrong of course).

HH has elevator access only in the Lodge (bldgs 11/12). No other buildings or areas are served by an elevator. In addition, there are no ground floor villas at the resort - all villas are at least up one flight of stairs.

There are some marsh views available in buildings 11/12. Most of the studios and 1BR villas are in those buildings. If the elevator is important to you, it should be noted as a request - probably ahead of the view. Not all rooms with elevator access will have a marsh view. The lodge has marsh view and island view- many of the island view rooms will still have a glimpse of the marsh thru the trees.
