Elementary School Question

A question for parents of elementary school children and elementary teachers:

If your school uses the 100 Book Challenge Reading Program, is it used alone or along another program like Harcourt or Houghton Mifflin?

My son's school uses 100 Book Challenge and right now it is looking like they are using alone for reading and it just doesn't seem like enough to me.
