It was a lot of fun! I'm glad we got to go. I was worried about 3,000 people in that area but it was perfectly fine.

Had you been otherwise? Was it more or less crowded? I heard more but what was your experience.

I wasn't sure if this meet was to make it exclusive or to bring more people who could come easily to come for thier first time. Does that make sense?

We had been previously and I do not think it was any more or less crowded. They must have had some idea with the 3,000 number as being a managable crowd. I agree, this was planned to bring it more attention. Especially since it came with admission. The marketing plan has worked on this bunch- my kids are so into it already and waiting for the movie to come out.

Thanks for all the great info, I had no real interest in this until I saw this thread. I wasn't a Tron fan when I was younger, but everything sounds like so much fun we'll definitely be hitting it when we go in November!

I just read the Disneyland Holiday on the disneylandnews.com and it said that ElecTRONica will take place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and nightly from Dec. 17 through Jan. 2. I would assume that they will have ElecTRONica running on those specific dates or will they run it in November on the weekends? I'm hoping that it will run when I go in November.

Bret, ElecTRONica has been a weekend show. F-S-S. The nightly deal that you read about is just for the holiday season. Aren't you getting there on a Thursday or Friday? If so you should be able to catch it one of your nights.

Aim at least to see the 3D preview in the muppet theater and Laserman if you can.

Thanks for clarifying this Matt. It would be stupid for DLR to shut down ElecTRONica down and restart it in mid December. Yes I am going to be there on Thursday, but I was planning on seeing it on Friday since the parks will be closing at 8pm on Thursday. I was planning on seeing "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks on Thursday night.

I will take your advice and see those activities.

ElecTRONica was fabulous. In my opinion, it was one of the best Disney attractions I have seen. Just amazing.

We went for WOC last night to see the Tron addition...way cool! Absolutely the best part of the show

New toys are out too. My little guy got a Sam toy that has an animated face. I found it on Disney store, too. Grown men were stopping my son to check out his new toy.
