Is this an october thing or will it go on through december?

Great Question. Right now it is mentioned to go, until the movie opens. Disney left this kind of open ended. It is said it will run nightly instead of just FSS during Thanksgiving week.

Just my thought, since TRON Legacy opens in early December this may run through to January since you could expect even if a bomb in theaters it will play for a few weeks and Disney will want to push it. Also crowds will grow at this time and they will want all the more entertainment in DCA.

After New Years, who know's maybe they will start on a new night time show?

Off topic, but when I saw this on Hollywood Blvd, I was thinking that this should be a permanent feature in a part of the park that is supposed to be about movies. I thought this based on how in WDW's Disney Hollywood Studios People like the movie aspects less and want more rides and this would be good themeing for DHS as well.

If you have every seen a movie or tv being filmed you would probably know right away why I think this is proper theming.

Now back to elecTRONica.

Yeah, but isn't Hollywood Blvd (soon to be renamed Hollywoodland) supposed to be themed to 1930's Hollywood? Like the TOT is? How does Tron fit with that? This is the same problem that DHS has. The Red Car Line is definitely "old Hollywood" so they need to stick with that theme and stop trying to jam stuff into spaces it doesn't really work. For now, since the work isn't done, it's ok. And I know it's only temporary. But I hope in a year or two when Buena Vista St/Hollywoodland areas are complete we don't see stuff like this again. It just rings Cynthia Harriss/Paul Pressler kind of marketing "synergy."

Regarding whether it will continue through December, I think it will depend on how the movie fares at the box office. If the movie tanks, I think you will see this go away rather quickly and quietly.

I spoke with Funball just a little bit ago. She said that ElecTRONica is very crowded. Much more than the photos from the CM preview.

However she did say it was busy going to the M&F garage and the trams whee very bad, she said her's in particular was delayed by a unagreeable guest. Although most of the guest were probably going to MHP.

I overheard a CM say tonight that it is scheduled to go until sometime in April, but that seems like an awfully long time so I'm not sure how reliable that is.

On the bright side, I got my Trontini in my green light up Martini glass tonight! I have some pictures I want to post but I'm not sure if that will happen tonight or tomorrow morning.

The trontini was Tuscan Lemonade... it was pretty good! I had a Glowjito during Glowfest and couldn't even finish it The martini glass kind of restricts the amount you get though, so I'm uploading pics right now

Got home from ElecTRONica about an hour ago and figured I'd post some photos. Soooo here goes....

Walking around beforehand... to the right of Monsters (when looking at the ride) was Flynn's, drinks ("End of Line Club"), and a food truck.

Waiting for the show to begin...

They also had Wii's set up outside to check out the new Tron game.

The DJ booth was set up between Monster's and where they used to do the Drawn to the Magic thing.

They appear to have reused the Glowfest dancer stage things.

The stage where they used to do Drawn to the Magic is now where Laserman performs.

Out on the main street (is it Hollywoond Blvd?)

All in all I thought it was pretty cool. It may be worth mentioning that the preview of the movie was the same they showed at Comic Con. Didn't matter to me, I hadn't seen it, but a friend I was with was disappointed as he hoped it would be different. It was shown in the Muppets 3D theater. I'm not sure if they just didn't expect as many people as there were but I felt that the back area with the DJ was poorly designed; people were dancing around it and there was literally no room to walk! For drinks they had two types of beer (Dos Equis and Blue Moon), as well as a Glowijto (again!) and a Trontini (Tuscan Lemonade). There was also a nonalcoholic green lemonade drink for the kiddos. Awesome music though and Laserman was kinda cool
