We received a postcard after our first trip in July, 1999, and went back that Christmas (staying at Allstars both times). We haven't received any more but have traveled to WDW several times since. We wanted to go back this Christmas break but weren't sure - we have a big vacation trip to Africa coming up in June. WDW must have been reading my mind, or picking up my vibes, because they sent me an email offer that had me dialing the phone immediatly! It is for the period 11/2 - 12/26, offering a moderate resort for $79/night. We usually stay at CBR, so this was exactly what I was looking for. The email had a Personal Identification Number (14 digits!) and a 3-letter code. It was signed by Scott Jackson, Disney Resort Programs. The theme of the email was the new Mission: SPACE.

Are they now sending out electronic postcards as well as snail-mail versions? I thought this was a very good rate - we've never stayed there for less than $100/night. For Christmas week, I was surprised to see that rate.
