Electrical outlets and Distilled Water

Ok, I have a question/concern and I figured this was as good a forum as any to mention it. The middle of last year I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and I have to use a CPAP to sleep properly at night. The CPAP has been a godsend for my soon to be DW as I have stopped snoring, and I don't fall asleep during the day at the drop of a hat.

Anyway, enough of an introduction... my question/concern is about distilled water and outlets in the rooms. I've stayed overnight with it in a number of hotels and have always managed to find an outlet near the bed to plug the CPAP in, but I wanted to see what folks might know about them (strange question I know). Also, does anyone know if Disney can supply me with a small bottle of distilled water for the humidfier that connects to my CPAP? If I have to I'll use bottled water (I've used Poland Spring in the past) but I'd rather have distilled if it's available.

Know this is a strange question, but with the trip (our honeymoon) rapidly approaching I'm finally begining to think of this stuff!

What about bringing an extension cord? We do for our son's portable DVD player.

Don't know if they sell distilled water for babies in the shops? Will you have a car? Easy to pick some up in that case.

Congratulations and have a great trip!

I haven't seen distilled water on the store shelves of any resort I've stayed at. In a pinch you could give the resort a phone call directly. It might be a behind the counter item or something their kitchens can supply as as courteousy. If you have a car go to Goodings or Publix & buy some there if need be.

:wave2: Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and welcome to the boards!

If you are flying in to MCO and taking a town car or limo, most companies will do a grocery stop for you during which you could pick up the distilled water. Sorry, no advice for the outlets.

BTW - my nephew plays for the Verona HS ice hockey team!

I like to plug my cell phone in near the bed and haven't ever had a problem. Sometimes I have had to unplug a light, but there are usually plenty of lights in the room.

My hubby uses a CPAP----we looked for distilled water at CSR and did not see any. We were fortunate that we brought some from home. We wished that we brought the surge protector or an extension cord. We put his machine on top of a phonebook on top of the luggage rack.

I would plan on bringing the water from home. As the others have pointed out, plenty of outlets, although you might need to move the alarm clock or unplug a light.

Have a great trip!

Anne
