Electric scooter at OKW with an upstairs condo

Is it feasible to have an electric scooter at OKW with an upstairs condo? It's too late to get a guaranteed accessible / 1st floor Grand Villa for January. I can climb stairs and walk a fair distance. I just need a scooter because I can't walk the distances required in the Parks and other areas at WDW. It would obviously need to be charged overnight and stored in a safe, dry place.

That's a tough one. I don't recall them having electric outlets outside the first floor rooms, which would be the place I'd think you could leave the scooter to charge, under cover, before going up the steps to your room. The one option that comes to mind, and it would be a long-shot. I believe the GV located in building 63 or 64 (forget which) is one that's in a newer building that includes an elevator. But I think you could only request it, not be guaranteed. I hope someone has experience with your situation and can offer a recommendation.

Have you tried calling? Unlikely, but worth a call. Also, try putting in for a waitlist. I was able to convert my Poly reservation to H/A by waitlisting. Good luck!

In the many trips to OKW with a scooter, I've gotten the first floor or one of the few elevator buildings on every trip, but I do request it beforehand. However, I've heard of people who didn't get first floor and had a scooter, so I go through anxiety before every check-in, wondering if this will be the time they can't give me first floor. Starting next trip to OKW, we're going to reserve a HA villa. That way we'll be sure to get first floor (or elevator building) Yes, I'd recommend calling them at this point, and I hope for your sake that they're as accommodating to you as they've been to me.
Sorry, I just reread your post and I see you're getting a GV. As far as I know, all the Grand Villas at OKW start on the second floor except for the HA ones. Since it seemed that way when we had a Grand Villa last year, we reserved a HA one and got a real nice one in an elevator building.
